Roger Wardell spent two years as the Maple Leafs Reporter for  AM640, the flag-ship station of the 13-time National Hockey League Stanley Cup Champion Toronto Maple Leafs.

The Air Canada Centre



The 48th Highlanders of Canada Pipes and Drums perform before the Toronto Maple Leafs Home Opener October 11th, 2003.  This group has performed at every single Maple Leafs Home Opener at Maple Leaf Gardens and the Air Canada Centre.  The 48th Highlanders have also served Canada all over the World in battle including both World Wars and the Boer War.


Leafs prospect Carlo Colaiacovo takes a pre-game skate with the Leafs. Carlo played in two games with the big club before being sent back down to the O.H.L. in 2002.

This is a pre-game ritual for the Leafs. At the end of the warm-up they crowd around the back-up goalie and try to score. Once they do the Leafs head off of the ice and into the dressing room.
