The Kitchener Rangers win the Robertson Cup as OHL Champions May 10, 2003. The team would go on to win the Memorial Cup as the best Junior Team in Canada.

Roger Wardell spent 7-seasons as the Television play by play voice of the Kitchener Rangers of the Ontario Hockey League. The Broadcasts won two “Prix Impressions Awards” for “Best Sports Coverage” on Rogers TV.  

The Rangers once affiliated with the New York Rangers of the NHL, have been in existence since 1963, when the franchise relocated from Guelph.

Al MacInnis, Scott Stevens, Brian Bellows, Paul Coffey, Jim Ralph, Derek Roy, Michael Richards and Steve Eminger have all made stops in the Kitchener system.

The Kitchener Rangers held their Team Awards Banquet May 27, 2003.  Back row, Gregory Campbell, T.J. Eason (Harold Gowing Memorial Trophy as the teams’ Most Improved Kitchener Minor Hockey Association Player), Michael Richards, Steve Eminger, and Matt Grennier. Front row includes Andre Benoit, Petr Kanko, Evan McGrath, and Marcus Smith.

Andre Benoit (wins the Bob "Snowy" Schlieman Award as best Offensive Defenseman. He's joined by Gregory Campbell, T.J. Eason, Steve Eminger, Evan McGrath (Michael Pappert Memorial Trophy as the Rookie of the Year), and Petr Kanko (Most Popular Player)

Michael Richards is named the teams' MVP winning the Jim Malleck Memorial Trophy, and he also picks up the Jim Reilly Trophy as the teams Scoring Champion.  He's joined by Steve Eminger who wins the Herchenrader Family award with the Best Defensive Ability, and Matt Grennier picks up the Blueline Club Trophy as the Most Gentlemanly Player.  In front is Evan McGrath, and Marcus Smith.
